Topics that we cover include geopolitical conflicts involving Korea, foreign relations, war, war-economy, sociology, and politics - mostly from the Korea's perspective. When we say, "Korea", it is always South Korea unless specified otherwise. We do not talk about other countries' political affairs - to censor ourselves. We share our opinions from the Korea's perspective - and Korea only. We have no political motivation and have no intention to influence the public opinions. We do not write to hold accountable major global powers. We write to offer diverse perspectives and provide a variety of viewpoints of Korea's geopolitics.

Our blog writing style is rather casual. It has a personal touch and a human voice, a concerned one.

Some of us have published research papers at securities companies for institutional investors thus have capabilities to write our blog in the similar manner; but we find it unnecessary to do so especially in this day in era for too much information is flooded into our everyday lives.

Our approach is to direct to sources and engage our audience to pay attention to what is already published already. We find it more meaningful to filter out noise so that our audience can turn their attention to what is more relevant and important.

So, you will see us quoting highly meaningful articles and directing you to the original sources.

In this sense, our insights-blog functions more like a record-keeping journal or an archive of those crucial puzzles so that our audience can see the whole picture. Without the whole picture, each puzzle may appear misleading; and you may reach a less accurate conclusion. We'd like to prevent that for the sake of truth - and truth only.

Below are samples of our writing in the recent months. While we have several market commentaries mainly medium-term views on treasuries and FX, we cannot help ourselves but to express our concerned views on the preliminary stage of WWIII. We keep our mouth shut about other regions and write only from the Korea's perspective.

While we say none about the war between Ukraine and Russia, we point out that as soon as the war broke out between UK and RU, it was widely reported in the mainstream media both inside Korea and outside that North Korea rushed for more missle tests.

War Prediction in Korea: Between 2025 and 2032

In the past 129 years, Korea was the battleground for four wars between third parties. Four wars in 129 years! That was a war in almost every thirty three years. Disgraceful to "host" third parties to wage wars in its territories. The last war was from 1950-1953. It has been seventy years.

It is as if the next war is already overdue. It makes me wonder: Is Korea really a sovereign nation?

Johan's prediction is that the next war will be between YR 2025 and 2032.
